Nevar, your team has done such an amazing job and its wonderful to see the community embrace such a fun event. Its a win win for fashionistas everywhere. Shop 84 desingers all in one place AND support an important, truly international cause. You guys really are making a difference in the fight against cancer and giving everyone a chance to FIGHT BACK!!

The sims and the shops all look amazing. People have obviously put a lot of heart into this.

I did notice there were some shops with no visible Donation vendors, though. How do we find the items that go to RFL without the recognizable purple edged vendors?

Congratulations! The sims are beautiful, and I can't wait to see how much money this will raise for RFL.

Two questions:

My first question is similar to Trish's: are we to assume that the designers that do not have the 2008 purple vendors are giving a percentage of all sales? It would be nice to know.

My second question: would it be possible for someone with more authority than I have (which is absolutely none) to ask people to remove their prims? Maybe shout it out every once in a while, as a reminder? I'm really surprised by how many fully dressed, coifed, shod, bejeweled, and AO'ed people are running around out there, and the lag is making it difficult for my to unload my lindens. ;-)

Finally, I overheard someone at RFL declaring that she would not go without hair. Well, I can understand that - I don't like going bald, either. But maybe we can think of removing our hair while shopping the clothing fair as a gesture of solidarity with people going through chemo, the same way friends and relatives of cancer victims shave their heads to demonstrate support IRL.

This is probably one of the most seemingly organized events I've ever been to. Its obvious that this has been through TONS of planning, and I was thrilled to be able to TP in when I did. I've been waiting for this to happen for months, and I'm ecstatic that so many people participated in it. :D

The shops look wonderful, the sims are beautiful, I love the themes. Congratulations, and you (and your amazing team!) did such a great job on this. ^^

However, like some of commenters before me, I do worry about some of the vendor's lack of RFL content. I personally have no purchased anything from designers that have not specified their RFL items, and I am curious if, as Owly said, a certain percentage of their sales go to RFL. If so, I have no problem buying from them at the fair. :D

But still, great job on organizing this event - its awesome. ^^

Just popped back in to add this info on how to reduce lag:

The vendors that don't have an visible RFL vendor are indeed donating a portion of thier entire RFL proceeds to the event. While I do have vendors visible myself, I will also be donating a portion of the sales to the event when it's over.

If you are in doubt, feel free to poke the creators and ask. Most, if not all will be happy to answer your questions.
