Two weeks to go

I have been sitting here this evening going over my mental list about the Clothing Fair. Tomorrow the sims arrive and the builders can finally get the builds onto to the sims. I cant wait really to see this come to life and to share it with each of you this year. When we picked the theme this year, we had some amazing ideas, lots of dreams and hopes. Could this even really happen? Would we be able to pull this off? Well the answer to all our questions 7 months ago is "Yes!"

So in less then 14 days , 150 of our favorite designers, Lots of clothing , musicians , DJ's and Builders from all over the world will kick off this amazing event . Relay For Life will start and records from the years before will be broken again. I just cant wait...

Advertising Opportunities at the Clothing Fair

Every year we offer advertising opportunities at the Clothing Fair and this year is no different .

The Clothing Fair this year is offering the following packages for advertisement. This is an excellent opportunity to get your business or someone you know seen at the fair.

All textures need to be 512 x 512

At the bottom of this notecard is the section for your name and your selection of advertising. Please fill out this notecard and drop it back to Amethyst Starostin. This is on a first come basis so I will contact you with payment information after it has been assigned. All payment is going to a dedicated avatar so do not drop payment to anyone else.

We've finally finished tweaking the list and checking it twice and we're proud to unveil the list of designers participating in the 2010 Clothing Fair. The Fair is opening on March 13 at 3pm SLT so be sure to start saving your lindens now. *grins* Over the next couple of weeks we will be posting more information on the Photo Contest, the sims sneak peek and the finishing touches we're putting on the Fair. Dedication Walls - 2010 Clothing Fair

Its that time of year that we start to gather our names for the dedication walls. This year we will have a very special area in the Clothing Fair for very special people. All of us participate in Relay for Life for different reasons and its important that we pay some tribute.

This year we are going to be doing something different. We will have three areas to Celebrate those in our lives who have been affected by Cancer. It doesn't matter if its here in Second Life or in your Real Life, We want to Celebrate, Fight Back , and Remember everyone.

We will have three walls, One for Survivors, One for Caregivers and One Memorial Wall.


If you have someone you would like to put on that wall, please drop a note card to Amethyst Starostin.

Note card must include name of the person and what wall (Survivor , Caregiver , or Memorial).

All note cards must be in by March 5th so that we can get the walls ready for the opening of the fair.

Clothing Fair 2010 --- Coming Soon !!!!

The Clothing Fair committee is proud to announce the dates for Second Life's 4th Annual Clothing Fair benefiting Relay for Life. Events are set to launch on Saturday, March 13th at 3pm slt and run 24/7 through Sunday, March 21, 2010 when the doors must close at 9pm SLT.

The Clothing Fair began as a dream three years ago with 34 stores participating in this event for Relay for Life. Since that date, it has grown to over 150 designers over 9 sims and has raised over 11 million Linden Dollars for RFL.

This year is no different. Prepare to be immersed in 8 of the greatest "Fashion Cities of the World" surrounding a center sim patterned after the UN Sculpture Gardens containing sculptures from some of SL's most talented artists.

We have some of the cream of the crop coming together in the fashion world of Second Life bringing designs from all over the world to this virtual shopping experience. Each of these designers dedicate months of time getting ready for this event. They are all committed to raising as much money for Relay for Life as possible.

This year we are again inviting the Live Musicians and DJ's of Second Life to join us. Covering 24/ 7 through-out the fair, fund raising, and letting us all know just what can be found through-out the 9 sims.

The Clothing Fair 2010 promises to be even better than ever, featuring:
